about
My Story.
My Mission!
Sue is the director of Choirs4Adults and Choirs4Kids. Both ONLINE choirs help boost confidence and joy, through singing, whilst decreasing isolation, anxiety, fear and depression.
CONNECTION
Every person who joins our sessions, feels valued and CONNECTED with us through the positive energy that fills the room.
CONFIDENCE
Through opportunities, encouragement and trust, everyone grows in CONFIDENCE and learns to persevere in order to achieve their best.
CREATIVITY
A safe place where people learn to believe and trust in their own CREATIVITY, gaining a freedom to explore their own unique voice.
A Little About Sue
Sue founded Choirs4Kids in 2016 and, after numerous requests, opened VividVoices in 2017.
Sue was also inspired to run World Singing Day in Perth from 2017-19. The first year had 100 participants and the last year approximately 2000 people attended!
Until 2020 weekly adults sessions were run all over Perth. It was awesome fun, an adventure which sadly came to a grinding halt in 2020.
In 2020, both choirs moved online and, unexpectedly and excitingly, are now reaching kids and adults all over world! 20 countries so far. We are humbled to be able to reach so many people at a time when they need fun and connection in their lives!
2022 has seen a name change for the adult choir and, in keeping with the brand, the new name is Choirs4Adults!
On a personal level Sue loves to perform in local theatre groups and adult choirs. She has a Bachelor of Education in Music and Sport, ABRSM examinations in Piano, Violin & Flute.
Sue is a Qualified Vocal Health First Aider, has completed Levels 1 & 2 in Estill Voice Training and is an Embodima graduate. She is a registered teacher with a valid Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance.
